The Scholar school shoe by Ascent is a true sports shoe in disguise. This formal female school shoe has been developed using years of Ascent sports footwear research. Designed to offer additional stability from the feel through to the midfoot. Thanks to its sporty heritage, this shoe still remains responsive, cushioned and durable for more active students who enjoy being on their feet. The scholar offers a more flexible construction compared to the Apex and is now available in a variety of width fittings. 

The Scholar Black by Ascent Footwear has an upper constructed of dye-through high-quality leather for added durability. Alongside this, a cushioned mesh lining with a microfibre wear tab offers support to the heel. The Scholar Black uses an internal heel stabiliser, wrapping under the heel counter and onto the medial side to reduce overpronation. This is supported by a rigid thermoplastic heel counter. 

The Scholar Black is available in multiple width fittings. This shoe fits a B fitting.
