The Scholar Black D junior school shoe by Ascent Footwear offers the cushioning and support of a sports shoe, with a formal appearance. Built upon years of sports shoe research, this comfort shoe offers added stability from the heel to the midfoot. Yet remains responsive for active students. 

Ascent school shoes, including the Scholar Black D, is endorsed by the Australasian Podiatry Council (APodC). The APodC endorses this comfort shoe as a product that offers therapeutic benefits and aids in the management or prevention of foot ailments. The durable dyed-through leather offers excellent durability, alongside a hard-wearing perpetual rubber outsole, designed to last at least six months. The heel stabiliser within the Scholar D extends onto the medial side of the shoe to prevent overpronation and is supported by a rigid heel counter.

Scholar Black D is a lightweight shoe with a bungee support cup insole. The heel offers insulin cushioning for all-day comfort, alongside a D width fitting.
