More than just shoes
Free Zoom footwear consultations
Tell us what your feet are doing and we'll work out what to put on them.
A Zoom consultation is a one-to-one call with one of our fitters, the same conversation you'd have standing in the shop, without the journey. You describe the problem, we ask the questions that narrow it down, and we show you the shoes we think will help, on camera, before you commit to anything.
It's free, and there's no obligation to buy.
What happens on the call
You tell us what's going on. Where it hurts, when it hurts, what you've already tried, and what you need the shoes for work, walking, standing all day, a wedding you're dreading.
We ask the questions that matter. Your usual size is only the start of it. Width, depth, instep, whether one foot is larger, whether you wear orthotics or custom insoles, what's gone wrong with your last few pairs. This is where most badly-fitting shoes get caught.
We show you the shoes. We'll flex the sole, turn them over, show you the depth of the toe box and how the fastening works, and hold up the colours side by side so you can see the difference properly.
You decide in your own time. We'll write up what we recommended and why. If you want to think about it, think about it. If you'd rather order there and then, we'll sort it out. We ship across the UK, and if they're not right, you can return them within 30 days.
What people come to us with
Sore heels first thing in the morning. Bunions that nothing seems to accommodate. Feet that swell through the day. Wide or deep feet that never fit a high street last. Diabetes and the need to protect the skin. Custom orthotics that won't sit properly in an off-the-shelf shoe. Standing on hard floors for ten hours a shift. Arthritic toe joints. Shoes that have to be smart enough for the office and survive a commute on foot.
We're fitters, not clinicians; we won't diagnose anything, and if something sounds like it needs a podiatrist or your GP we'll say so. What we do know is which shoes accommodate which shapes and complaints.
Who it's best for
Anyone who can't easily get to the shop: outside Stratford, short on time, or finding travel difficult. It's also worth booking if you'd simply rather not spend a morning trying on shoes in a shop, it's a much quicker way to narrow things down to two or three pairs worth trying.

Common questions
Do I need a Zoom account?
No. We'll email you a link — click it and you're in, on a phone, tablet or computer.
How long does it take?
Usually 20 to 30 minutes. Longer if you need it.
Do I have to buy?
No. The consultation is free and it stays free whether you buy or not. Plenty of people take our recommendations away and think about it.
What if I don't know my size?
Most people don't, not really. We'll talk you through measuring your feet properly on the call.
Can someone sit in with me?
Of course. A partner, a carer, a family member, or a friend can join. It often helps.
