The Birkenstock Gizeh Black is made using a suede-lined cork footbed. This provides plenty of arch support, cushioning and insulation. The EVA outsole also helps to provide cushioning, this soft material helps to smooth out bumps in the road to keep you comfortable during long walks. 

Birkenstock sandals feature a deep heel cup to support the heel bone in its natural position. This helps to activate the calf muscles, stabilise the foot and helps to improve the gait and coordination. The arch support runs alongside the footbed to provide stability with every step.
